Parent Thoughts

Parent Cindy Bakanas shared these thoughts
“Our whole family has benefited from New Pond Farm's Shakespeare, especially our twin sons who started the summer Shakespeare program in sixth grade. Thanks to Nancy Ponturo's winter weekly seminar for high schoolers, their understanding and love of Shakespeare's drama and poetry has deepened and expanded as they have matured. New Pond Farm's winter program provides a venue for them to act the words they love, without the pressure of a more formal production. Nancy has introduced them to some of the best of Shakespeare's tragedies. By the time they leave Redding for college, they will have a good understanding of at least 12 of Shakespeare's plays, all thanks to New Pond Farm.”
