Tile Wall Project

Reknowned artist Marion Grebow has been hard at work for the past several years hand-sculpting tiles for two unique walls that will enhance our Learning Center.

Together the barnyard and pasture walls will illustrate the mission of the organization and at the same time highlight local species of flora and fauna. The Barnyard Wall is nearly complete and should be in place by the end of March. Its central mural showcases activities that our students and campers have enjoyed through the years such as milking cows, feeding piglets, collecting eggs, and meeting chicks. We can’t wait for you to see these fantastic tiles, each one is a work of art.

The equally spectacular Pasture Wall, which may take another year to complete, will detail activities that take place on our rolling pastures like bird watching, beekeeping, stream studies, vegetable gardening, sheep shearing, stargazing and the like.

Many incredible tiles remain and if you haven’t had a chance to participate in this unique project, please give us a call!

	Barnyard Tile Wall
	The First Of Our Tile Walls Has Been Installed! Please come to see the exquisite barnyard tile wall that has been installed in the entryway of our Learning Center! Each hand-sculpted tile is a work of art created by talented artist Marion Grebow. The central mural showcases many of the activities that take place in our educational programs while surrounding tiles feature many of the insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and wildflowers found on the farm. Many thanks to the several hundred members that are a part of this project! There are still a few tiles available on this wall! Tiles are currently being created for our Pasture Wall. The central mural will feature tiles relating to our Founders' May Fair, our Shakespeare programs, our environmental, Native American, and astronomy classes, and our summer camp. We still have many beautiful tiles for purchase ranging from children's mosaics to the larger mural tiles. These tiles are a unique way to celebrate a birthday, a teacher, a family member, or a special friend. Please contact Ann for more information.
