Earth Day 2007!
DIG IT!

The Town of Redding, New Pond Farm & the Redding Land Trust Invite you to:

CELEBRATE EARTH DAY!

Pre- Earth Day Events

(For reservations and/or further information on any of the activities, please call Kristen at 938-2117)

Friday, April 20th at 3:00 PM - A tour of the new boardwalk and platform at the Lonetown Marsh led by Redding Eagle Scout, Evan Tiefenthaler.  

Saturday, April 20th 10:00 AM - Two guided tours exploring the Little River North Trail led by the Redding Land Trust. For the shorter hike, park at 105 Cross Highway (the bottom of the hill). For a longer hike, park at the trailhead at Pheasant Ridge Rd. Return transportation will be provided by the Land Trust. 

Saturday, April 20th 1:30 - 3:30 PM - A hike along the Norwalk River with interpretation by the Norwalk River Watershed Association. Park your cars on Simpaug Tpke. near Rt. 7. 

Earth Day Celebration

Where:    John Read Middle School & the 312 acre Saugatuck Falls Natural Area
