After her course work at RADA she played in As You Like It at
Stratford on Avon. 2.
Returning to the United States, Carmen played in many Shakespearean plays
in the early 1940’s
with the Maurice Evans and Margaret Webster Production Co. such as Ophelia in Hamlet,
Queen in Richard II, Lady Mortimer in Henry IV. 3.
